Opening of an I.C.E Interconnection Center in Montreal

In collaboration with its sister company Metro Optic, ICE Datacenters is opening an interconnection and fiber center in Montreal.
ICE, which stands for Interconnection and Colocation for the Enterprise, is a carrier-neutral and independent provider of data centres.
Its new center has 25,000 sq ft. of floor space installed in downtown Montreal. It is located at the heart of seven network points of presence traveling across the greater Montreal area and has two meet me rooms for local, provincial, national, North American and international interconnections.
This interconnection site is managed by Metro Optic, which owns and operates high speed fiber optic networks.
“We offer our customers a unique combination of the cloud infrastructure essentials: interconnection, colocation and fiber, all-in-one,” said Daniel Legault, President and COO of I.C.E Data Centers in a news release.
ICE has also recently established a colocation and interconnection center in Markham, a suburb of Toronto. The company also has eight datacenter locations in Montreal and one center in Toronto.
