Michael has over 20 years of executive-level experience in technology management. Prior to his executive responsibilities at I.C.E Datacenters and Metro Optic, he was Chief Executive Officer of FiberMedia Group, a multi-regional datacenter provider with 7 datacenters in New York, New Jersey, Ohio and London, UK. Prior to FiberMedia, Michael was responsible for corporate development as well as C-Labs at Consonus Technologies, a leading multi-regional datacenter provider in the Southeastern and Western US. Michael also spent six years with GE Capital in Stamford, CT, where he built and managed a $70MM IT services business.

Dan has over 35 years of operating experience in the communications, Internet and datacenter industry. Dan is the Founder and President of Metro Optic, a Montreal-based operator of high-speed fiber networks and datacenters in Montreal. Prior to that, he was working in the IT industry with Amdahl Corporation in technical, management and sales roles, where he had responsibility for over $30 million of direct customer revenue. Dan has also worked in the hi-tech financing and leasing industry with direct responsibility for over $50 million of business. Dan sits on the board of the Quebec Internet Exchange.
Nicholas Dumesnil CPA, CA
Vice President of Finance
Nicholas was previously Assistant Controller at CBG (a joint venture owned by Rio Tinto Alcan and Alcoa, the site being one of the largest producers of bauxite (aluminium ore) in the world) in Guinea, Africa. He was responsible for the production and analysis of financial statements, financial controls and the supervision of 14 employees. Before that, Nicholas worked at PwC’s Montreal office as a Senior External Auditor. Mr. Dumesnil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants since 2011 and the Ordre des Comptables Professionnels Agréés du Québec.

Benoît has over 26 years of technical, sales and marketing and executive experience in fiber networks. From 1990 to 2000 he was a member of the Corporation of Master Electricien. In 1998, he was a winner of the best energy efficiency project for a municipality in Quebec by AQME. In 1997, he was the winner of the best innovations project for a municipality (fiber network) by the Canadian Association of Municipality. He also served as a teacher at CEGEP Andre Laurendeau in fiber networking. He was a funder of Cable VDN Commercial that deployed fiber to Enterprise, municipalities, School Boards, and Carrier Wholesale, etc. He was additionally a co-funder of MTO Telecom in 1995 sold to Cogeco in 2011 and served as a Vice President there from 2011 to 2015.

Elisabeth has 18 years of experience in sales and operations in the fields of telecommunications and datacenters. Elisabeth started in sales with Microcell, then joined Bridgepoint International. She acquired a solid experience in management as a city manager for Peer1 Network, a Vancouver-based datacenter and network company, where she was responsible for the sales team and operations of the Montreal datacenter. Elisabeth then joined Metro Optic, a Montreal-based operator of high-speed fiber networks and datacenters as a partner and general manager where she gain more skills and contacts in the network and fiber optic industry.

Philippe has been working in the telecom world for the past 20+ years in different technical and managerial roles. From HFC Network tech at Cable Axion and Cable VDN, passing through enterprise network operations, provisioning and architecture with MTO Telecom, and finally NOC & Field services manager and network architect role before joining the Metro Optic team.
