1. What's your role at Metro Optic and what's a typical day like ?

As Director of Business Development and Talent Management, my typical day is varied and dynamic. I strategically plan my time between my two roles, which are linked by the customer and employee experience. I explore new business opportunities, talk to customers and see to my HR tasks, retention and recruitment.

2. What attracted you to the telecommunications sector ?

In full disclosure, I came to it without any particular attraction. However, I quickly became interested in it and love the fact that I have a role to play in connecting people and companies in this evolving field.

3. What makes Metro Optic unique in the telecommunications industry ?

We have a great collaborative atmosphere and a great team. Every employee is committed to the company's success.

4. What motivates you in your role ?

It's the chance to have an impact on the success of the companies that put their trust in us. Learning more about the services our customers offer and seeing how we can help them.

In Talent Management, it's about making sure that our team stays in line with our values and culture, and that we continue to vibrate and enjoy working together.

5. What are your hobbies/interests outside work ?

I love hiking in the mountains, mountain and road biking, downhill skiing and snowshoeing. I love animals, especially dogs and horses. I read a lot and love exploring our beautiful planet. I'm particularly drawn to the sea, lakes and mountains, which recharge my batteries.
